Sensei Dev Barrett awarded 7th Dan Black Belt by Kancho Henk Kuipers

At the end of the 2007 ECKA Summer Course Kancho Henk Kuipers surprised all of the participants of the course by awarding Sensei Dev his 7th Dan Black Belt and making him an honourary member of the International Budokai Kan (IBK).

Kancho Henk currently holds the rank of 8th Dan Black Belt as President of the Worldwide International Budokai Kan, which is an all-round style of Kyokushin Karate that was founded by the famous Masustatsu Oyama.

This demonstrates the long-standing friendship and professional bond that has existed between Kancho Henk and Sensei Dev and will lead to a greater partnership between the two organisations in the future.
